National Association of Home Builders A 200,000 member association headquartered in Washington, D.C., National Association of Home Builders is organized in a federation of approximately 800 state and local builders associations around the country. As a member, you have access to a broad range of services including legal research and assistance; technical and business assistance; educational programs; publications and conferences.

The statewide voice of the 13 local building industry associations in California, California Building Industry Association is located in Sacramento where its staff maintains contact with state officials and the legislature. The state association also produces several influential publications and conducts a wide variety of educational programs for its members and the public.

California Builder CBIA News Summary A weekly update of top industry related news articles in California.

Building News The Nation's leading "Building News" e-publication is published by the Association of Home Builders.

Traffic Report A report on new home sales and subdivision traffic figures on a weekly basis for 100 new home communities in the Sacramento area. Available only to participating builder members for a subscription fee of $250 per year.

Business Exchange Breakfast Held three times a year, the Business Exchange Breakfast provides a forum for builders to announce their upcoming projects to subcontractors and associate members. The Business Exchange Breakfast Book, distributed at this event, lists the building projects as well as supplies and services offered by subcontractor and associate members.

Golf Tournaments The BIA puts on two golf tournaments a year. These tournaments are for members only. See the calendar of events for specific dates.

Installation Banquet An annual formal dinner held in January for the installation of our association Chairman and Board of Directors.

Sales and Marketing Council These events recognize top new home sales agents, feature topical speakers of interest to its members, promote networking, and professional education/training.

Sponsorships BIA events and meetings provide valued exposure and recognition. Sponsors are needed for almost every event. In return for support, sponsors receive recognition, exposure and other benefits.

Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC) This three-day event is the largest industry trade show and conference on the west coast. Presented annually by the California Building Industry Association, the event is held in San Francisco. Contact: info@pcbc.com

International Builders' Show & NextBuild This international housing and building trade show is the largest in the country and features more than 1,700 exhibitors providing the latest and most innovative home building products and services as well as 250 educational sessions led by industry experts and notable business entrepreneurs.

Members of the North State Building Industry have the availability of Guaranteed Issue Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage with various Insurance Carriers, such as Western Health Advantage, Allied Health, Kaiser, Delta Dental and Medical Eye Services.

Though all BIA member companies are eligible for the BIA group health insurance plan, companies with 1 to 6 employees can save as much as 10% or more of their annual medical premium by enrolling in our BIA pool plans. No matter what your company size, it is worth it to get a quote.
