Morgan JohnsonMorgan Johnson
Morgan Johnson is an industry leader on effectively marketing and selling sustainable residential communities. He is currently the top-selling real estate broker for LEED-R certified solar homes in the Western United States. Morgan is President of Walker Edward, a Residential Brokerage Sales Firm, which was founded upon the vision that the opportunity to live in a sustainable community must be available to everyone. The firm’s mission is to increase the number of sustainable communities by developing high-performing sales and marketing teams, and empowering the owner community. Their focus is on the economic performance aspect of the transition to sustainable living in both new construction and the legacy-built environment.

Although the residential building industry has been reluctant to adopt more sustainable practices, in part due to the perception that the increased cost for solar and other new technologies may not be recaptured, Morgan’s direct experience in solar home sales, as well as industry research, indicates that incorporating energy efficient and renewable energy features into houses can increase absorption, create market enthusiasm, and generate higher sales prices. Through his work with Walker Edward, Morgan works with builders to ensure the financial success of sustainable communities by developing high-performing sales teams, expanding the role of the sales agent to act as a leader in community empowerment, and helping to insure long-term integrity of the built environment.
